3 Tips voor een Mooi Resultaat met Foto’s Zonder Detail

3 Tips for a Beautiful Result with Photos Without Detail

Visited a photographer and had beautiful photos taken in a studio? For example with a plain white background or a red one. Everything is possible! These photos can also be printed very nicely lenticularly.

Actually, it is best to use photos with a lot of detail for these types of prints. The effect works best with a lot of detail in the photos. Although you can also get very nice results without any detail!

In this blog post you can read 3 tips for a great result with photos without detail.

Tip 1: Keep the effect simple

An important one (perhaps the most important one!), keep the effect simple and in the same place.

It may seem more fun to make the flip effect as big and complicated as possible, but with images below detail, less is more .

Very cliché, but it's true! On plain backgrounds you will see the 'ghosting effect' appear most quickly. Especially if they are light colored. If you keep the effect simple and in the same place, you keep the detailed pieces in the same place and the images don't blend together.

Tip 2: Use low contrasting colors

Low contrast colors , which means: colors that are close to each other. The opposite of black on white!

Black and white is an extreme example, but you can clearly demonstrate the (unwanted) effect. If you have a plain white background on one image and a black background with a little bit of detail on the other image. Then you will see the dark colors through the white background. That is of course a shame!

Tip 3: Combine two photos with little detail

This tip is somewhat related to tip 1 . If you have an image with a plain background and the other image has a lot of detail in it, you will see it faintly through it. That's too bad! If you combine a background with little detail with another background with little detail you will avoid this and get a nice result.

These tips are just tips and do not necessarily have to be followed. For the best end result, you can take this into account.
These are guidelines, 99% of the time the effect works beautifully. The big picture is actually: detail in the images works best. If you have photos without detail, try to take the tips above into account. This way we can make something beautiful again!
